Now Streaming: MIDI GULF

MIDI GULF is streaming a day-before-release (why are all those hyphens in there? meh, looks kind of cool) on Soundcloud. It will be available for free download on Bandcamp tomorrow. In the aftermath of publishing the project, I will be posting a write-up on the creation process for each song. MIDI GULF may eventually find its way into the three dimensional world, in the form of compact discs and cassette tapes, though I can't promise that either of these will see the light of day (especially the latter).

    1. LOL! Thanks, Jay. I thought some of the tracks could make for some apt background music.

  2. Nice! "The Waves at Sundown"'s distorted guitar riff reminds me of Appleseed Cast's "Reaction." Also, "Dmitri's Sunglasses" sounds like a really cool meditation on the opening guitar line from "Don't Fear the Reaper." Also, I really like the thought-provoking change that song takes 1:20 in. However, I like the vibe of 1990's Soda Machine most of all. Very enjoyable work!

    1. Thanks for listening and for the thorough feedback! I will have to check out those songs you mentioned (afraid I'm not the most familiar with a lot of indie rock or classic rock). Interesting you mentioned "1990s Soda Machine", as a couple others seem to like that one most, too.
